  • 2247Contributors

  • 150.7 INJCommunity contribution

  • 1,500 INJMatching pool

We support mobile users to vote using both Metamask and Keplr wallets. However, to enhance your voting experience, we recommend using the Keplr wallet. The following instructions will guide you to complete the voting process quickly. Let's start!

Quick Facts

  • Voting period: March 18th, 5 AM PST(1 PM UTC) - April 8th, 5 AM PST(1 PM UTC)
  • Vote at DoraHacks: https://dorahacks.io/injective/1/
  • 1 vote costs 0.01 INJ. Ensure your wallet has a sufficient $INJ balance for both the vote and gas fee.
  • (Metamask Only) vcDORA(>0) can add weight to your votes (making 1 vote counted as more votes in the prize distribution algorithm). Voting does NOT consume any real vcDORA/DORA token. (The wallet to vote via Injective and to hold vcDORA should be the same one.)
  • Sybil attacks are prohibited and will be detected during the post-hackathon anti-sybil check, which means that creating multiple fake accounts to vote will not improve the BUIDL ranking.

Voting Guide - Keplr App Users

Step 1. Preparation

  1. Download the Keplr App: https://www.keplr.app/download

  2. Click on the icon in the upper left corner of the homepage, then select "Manage Chain Visibility". Next, search for Injective and confirm to add it.

  1. 1 vote costs 0.01 INJ. Ensure you have a sufficient INJ balance and gas fee in your wallet.

  2. Please access the voting page through the Keplr App. Voting via Safari/Chrome might fail.

Step 2. Go to vote

  1. Explore all projects and click the "Add to Contribution Cart" to select the projects you wish to vote for.
  1. Adjust the number of votes you wish to cast and link your Keplr wallet. Each vote will cost 0.01 INJ, and you can cast multiple votes. The INJ you spend will directly contribute to the projects you support.
  1. Once you see the prompt on this page, congratulations! You have successfully cast your vote. Your votes will be recorded on-chain. After voting, you can check the current project ranking via the leaderboard.

Voting Guide - Metamask App Users

Step 1. Connect your Metamask to the Injective Hub

  1. Ensure that your wallet is connected to the Ethereum network.
  1. Please access the Injective Hub in the Metamask App and connect your wallet. 1 vote costs 0.01 INJ. Ensure you have a sufficient INJ balance and gas fee in your wallet.

Step 2. Go to vote

  1. Please access the voting page through the Metamask App. Voting via Safari/Chrome would fail.
  1. Explore all projects and click "Add to Contribution Cart" to select the projects you wish to vote for.
  1. Adjust the number of votes you wish to cast and link your Metamask wallet. Each vote will cost 0.01 INJ, and you can cast multiple votes. The INJ you spend will directly support the projects you support.
  1. If you wish to increase the weight of your votes, you can stake DORA via this page to acquire vcDORA. This will amplify the impact of your votes in the prize distribution algorithm. Additionally, please ensure that the wallet used for voting via Injective and for holding vcDORA is the same.

*It's important to note that voting does NOT require any real vcDORA/DORA tokens.

  1. Once you see the prompt on this page, congratulations! You have successfully cast your vote. Your votes will be recorded on-chain. After voting, you can check the current project ranking via the leaderboard.

vcDORA to add voting weight

In this voting round, vcDORA holders will have more voting power than usual voters. The added weight depends on the real-time vcDORA balance when the holder votes.

Added weight = Log2(vcDORA+2)(realtime vcDORA counts)

For example, if you have:
- 0 vcDORA, Added weight = log₂(0+2) = 1 vote given (so no weight added when you have 0 vcDORA)
- 6 vcDORA, Added weight = log₂(6+2) = 3 votes given
- 1022 vcDORA, Added weight = log₂(1022+2) = 10 votes given

After staking DORA and making sure you own vcDORA(>0), when your wallet is connected, you will see the vote amplifier as follows. (The wallet to vote via INJ and to hold vcDORA should be the same.)
