ABOUT ETHWOMEN

What is ETHWomen?

• ETHWomen is a female-focused and inclusive online and in-person event series, part of ETHToronto and Blockchain Futurist Conference.

Who can participate at ETHWomen?

• ETHWomen is a community event and free to all participants. We are always accepting developers from beginner to expert levels. All skill levels are welcome from novice to experts. No prior experience is required.

What skills are required to participate at ETHWomen?

• No technical skills are required to participate, you can compete in technical and non-technical tracks. Check out the bounties for more details.

How can I get started to participate?

• Once you applied on ETHToronto website and received confirmation to participate as a Hacker, here are three steps to take:

1. Register on our ETHToronto (and ETHWomen for those eligible) page here on DoraHacks
2. Complete your profile, submit your build and select the bounties you want to participate in
3. Join the Discord server and select the Hacker role to access the relevant channels.

How many bounties can I participate in?

• You can select to compete in as many bounties as you want for both ETHToronto and ETHWomen.

Do I have to attend in-person or can I participate online?

• ETHWomen is a hybrid event with the hackathon taking place here on DoraHacks and the ETHToronto / ETHWomen Discord server. The in-person attendance is optional and participants receive a ticket from Eventbrite as confirmation to access the in-person event.

Where can I find new team members or a team to join?

• Register as Hacker here on DoraHacks, complete your profile and submit your idea on the 'Idea Board'. This will give visibility to your skills and project, if you are building an existing project or decided which bounty to participate in. Then, join the Discord server and post a message in the #team-formation channel and check out posts from other participants to find your team.

🚀 BOUNTY DESCRIPTION:

• This track is an open invitation for developers to showcase how they can use ICP’s unique features creatively. The aim is to highlight projects that could demonstrate the practical utility of ICP in various applications, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible on the blockchain.

🚀 REQUIREMENTS:

1. Build on the ICP mainnet
2. Deploy a backend canister smart contract
3. Build original code using an ICP feature (ECDSA, HTTP Outcall, ckBTC, ckETH…)
