Payment Channel and Lightning Network #543
#Payment_Channel_and_Lightning_Network
The Lightning Network was originally proposed for Bitcoin by Satoshi Nakamoto, who suggested the concept of payment channels in Bitcoin 1.0. Nakamoto began coding for this idea, which covered transactions in the transaction pool, and miners packed only the latest transactions. A few years later, the Bitcoin community began discussing how to expand Bitcoin, with the goal of addressing the issues of Bitcoin expansion, instant transaction confirmation, and high trading fees.
Do you know what practical applications the Lightning Network currently has? Please leave a message to participate in the discussion.
