Today, to get an ambulance in case of an emergency, we need to call the hospital or the emergency services number, after which an ambulance is dispatched to your location. In this hackathon project idea, I’m planning to build a live tracking app like Uber or Ola where an individual can book an ambulance in just a few clicks entering details of your emergency. The platform can also be used by ambulances to pick the best route to reach the nearest hospital. It can be linked together to ensure that everybody with the app gets a notification that an ambulance is going to pass their street, so they can keep the lane empty. This would prove to be a very useful solution for the public at large and attending to emergency situations with ease
