Getting Started [3-5 MIN]

1. You should submit your BUIDL via DoraHacks.io. You will need an account with DoraHacks before you can submit.

In order to qualify for the prizes, you and your team MUST submit a 90 second video with Team slide*

Use: www.loom.com for free video service. Then add this video to Dorahacks so instructions below.

A. 60 second video (example: https://youtu.be/UU17Yymb6jo?si=-h2HSZzVMlYiiQwb) B. 30 second demo video of your hackathon project C. 1 page team summary.

Specifically:

A. Make sure your video is maximum 60 seconds when played back at 1x speed. If you go over too much, your submission maybe disqualified and you will not be eligible for prizes.

B. Format of video: 60 second elevator pitch + 30 sec demo walkthrough of your product.

  1. Introduce yourself
  2. The main problem your user experiences when completing the task BEFORE your product was created.
  3. How your hackathon project solves the main problem.
  4. Team Slide
  5. Call to action.

**### 30 Second - Demo Walkthrough of your Hackathon Project ### **2. Share screen on your hackathon project and record yourself as you walk through the main feature to show what it does.

**### 1 Page Team Member Summary ### ** 3.Add a page with your team member names/screen names. Hint: Don't spend time talking about your team. Just make 1 slide that shows up at the very end of the video so the judges can see who you and your team are. Friendly reminder, teams must be minimum 2 people and maximum 4 people. Try to make sure you have a least one tech member and one marketing/business member on each team.

Use the Log in button at the upper right corner of the page to access the sign-up options.

You can choose to create your account with either your Github account, crypto wallet or email address. For BUIDLers, we recommend that you connect the account to your Github to share your projects with a wider audience.

  • You may be asked to receive a verification code via email. The email may take a few minutes to arrive. No worries! The code will only expire 10 minutes after you click “send code”.

2. Before the submission deadline, please make sure you have added your Github link to the project. You can submit the project first, and continue editing up until the deadline.

Click “Submit BUIDL”.

→ If you already have a BUIDL on DoraHacks

Choose your BUIDL project from "Apply with Existing BUIDL" and identify the track you want to join.

→ If you want to submit a new BUIDL project

Click “Create a new BUIDL” and fill in the form as required. You'll be directed to "Apply for Bitcoin Olympics Hackathon" page after completing the new BUIDL setup.

Fill in the form to offer the information about your project. Note that for demo, demo link and social media, please offer URLs (with http/https://).

Don't forget to check "I agree to the User Agreement".

Back on Application window, choose your BUIDL project from "Apply with Existing BUIDL" and select the appropriate track for your BUIDL.

After submitting successfully, you'll see this notification.

Project Approval

After submission, your project needs to be approved by the Hackathon Organizer before it is publicly visible on the hackathon page BUIDLs gallery.

Getting Support

If you have any questions for the hackathon organizers, feel free to reach out via their dedicated communication channel on Telegram, Discord, or Slack. You can also click the "Message" button next to the organizer's logo to DM them on DoraHacks.

Want to make some changes to your BUIDL?

Click [Avatar] -> [Profile] to enter the Account Center, and click the "Edit" button on the top right of the BUIDL to update the BUIDL information.
