Polygon-Grants Primer Workshop will give your an overview of Polygon, in particular its scalability from the view of eco-partners/sponsors. Treat this series as your dictionary, we will scrape, parse, and learn about a collected interpretations of Polygon. You will learn about advanced implementations of increased challenging dApps, tools, protocols and more.

Scaling Ethereum with Polygon

In this workshop, Yuling Ma, the integration lead of Polygon, focuses on how to scale Ethereum with Polygon. She also provided insights on Multi-Chain Ethereum Ecosystem, architecture of Polygon, Various deployment methods of Polygon, and cross-chain bridging.

Building a Lending Protocol on Polygon

Raneet Debnath, blockchain solutions engineer at Polygon, provided a live showcase of lending protocol on Polygon. Additionally, Raneet spoke about the Polygon Academy and especially about DeFi infos. Polygon Academy is a great tool for anyone interested in learning about the Polygon ecosystem and building on Polygon.

Building a NFT marketplace on Polygon

This workshop is very inspiring for all developers and NFT enthusiasts. Brian Seong, the lead in developer relations at Polygon delivered fundamental knowledge on how to develop on Polygon with an emphasis on NFT. Moreover, Brian shared with details on how to build a NFT marketplace on Polygon, which is to many’s interest.

Fastest Way to build Polygon Dapps with Moralis

The CEO of Moralis, Ivan shared his thoughts on the fastest method to build on Polygon Dapps using Moralis. He also introduced the underlying ideas and elements for Polygon Dapps. Ivan also provided information on Moralis Server, Moralis SDK, and their advantages compared to other Polygon Dapps.

Scaffold Eth with Austin Griffith

In this workshop we invited Austin Griffith, builder at Ethereum Foundation to share about the development tool Scaffold Eth. In the workshop Austin talked about how to use Scaffold Eth as a combination of different building tools and provide a more efficient building process for users.

Oracles, Decentralized Data, and External Computation by Chainlink

In this workshop session we invited Harry, the developer advocate at Chainlink Labs to speak on different topics related to Polygon. In specific, the workshop provided an overview of decentralized Oracle network, decentralized data, on-chain verifiable randomness using Chainlink VRF and external computation.

How to use fantastic metrics to monitor your Web3 projects

In this workshop, the Co-founder & CTO of Tenderly, Bodgan provided suggestions on how to use fantastic metris to monitor your Web3 Projects. Other topic covered in the workshop included a quick introduction to what are Metrics and how teams can use them to create a monitoring system, discussion around when is the best time to start monitoring your system, and how to use the knowledge we gained in the first two parts to monitor our Web3 project.

Scratch to DApp by Covalent & GetBlock

In this workshop we invited speakers from Covalent and GetBlock to provide a step by step instruction on how to develop Dapp from scratch. Canberk Kandemir and Aziz Amer also shared on how Dapp functions in different ecosystems such as Polygon, GetBlock, and Covalent.

The Polygon Pathway on Figment Learn by Figment

In this workshop, Daniel Gamboa, software engineer at Figment, shared information and instructions that would help developers to master Web3. Moreover, an introduction to Polygon and Polygon Dapps were provided as well.

S**hip your dApp to NEW WEB by ArgoApp**

In this workshop our speaker Prashant Maurya, CEO & Co-founder of ArgoApp gave a detailed presentation to ArGoApp and provided a live demonstration of the function of the ArGoApp.

Blockchain gaming, play2earn and Stardust by Stardust

Canaan Linder, the CEO of Stardust, provided his thoughts on the blockchain gaming industry, play 2 earn system, and most importantly Stardust. The workshop provided valuable information for anyone who wanted to enter the blockchain gaming industry.

Deploying a smart contract on Polygon by Alchemy

In this workshop Halpern Elan, developer experience at Alchemy, provided an introduction to the Alchemy Blockchain Developer platform. The workshop also included a walkthrough of the developer platform as well, answering many potential questions one might encounter.

Getting more out of your crypto through lending by QiDao

QiDao Protocol is a crypto lending project that allows users to explore more potential with their crypto currency. In this workshop Kila and Ben, core members of QiDao provide introduction to concepts and ideas regarding crypto lending while giving a live demo of borrowing from QiDao.

Connecting the dots: the first step to become a DeFi strategist

In this workshop our speaker Mussina Lin, smart contract engineer at Furucombo provided valuable insights on the first steps to becoming a DeFi strategist. An introduction of DINNGO and Furucombo was provided as well. Mussina also shared the fundamental ideas of Furucombo system and gave a demo of initiating a combo through contract call.

Building a superior web3 user experience by Biconomy

Biconomy focuses on providing superior web3 user experience, and in this workshop the CTO & Co-founder of Biconomy, Sachin Tomar, provided more detailed information regarding Biconomy’s two biggest projects: the Mexa which enable gasless transactions, and the Forward, enabling paying gas in ERC20.

Power of Dex Aggregators & deep dive into Paraswap V5 API

In this workshop we invited the backend developer & algorithm designer of Paraswap to share about the power of Dex Aggregators. Shresth also elaborated on Paraswap V5 API during the workshop as well.

Powering Polygon with Pocket endpoints by Pocket Network

Pocket Network focuses on unlimited potentials with Pocket endpoints. In this workshop, Enrique Ortiz, software engineer at Pocket Network talked in depth about powering Polygon with Pocket endpoints.

The DeFi Way to Trade Derivatives

In this workshop the CEO of Deri Protocol, 0xAlpha, vtalked about the DeFi way to trade derivatives, providing new ideas for DeFi fields.

Network impact of polygon ecosystem

Linyu Yang, advisor at Nova Club and ND Labs, spoke about network impact of Polygon ecosystem by ND Labs. At the same time, there are a couple of guest speakers as well, they are TRI, Marc, Steve Good, and 0xAlpha. The major themes of the workshop included network impact of the Polygon ecosystem and three projects: Voice street, Pod and Dream Quest.

Building scalable indexers for Ethereum

Arham Jain, senior developer at Unmarshal, provided thoughts on building scalable indexers for ethereum based chains using on-disk key value stores by Unmarshal.

Introduction to the Filecoin Bridge: Permissionless storage

In this workshop Carson Farmer, R&D at Textile, provided an introduction to the Bridge system. Carson also offered valuable information regarding on-chain contracts and off-chain storage on Filecoin. Zero-config Javascript/Typescript SDK and zero to data on Filecoin was also explained in detail by Carson.
