BNB Grant DAO series goes to its 3rd round!

From BNB Grant Round 1 ‘Revelation Hackathon’, 216 BUIDLer teams were funded with over $10 Million by our amazing community and sponsors. (check out the judge’s select collection) Now, it’s time to expand the boundaries and get prepared to join the latest round of BNB Grant DAO.

BNB Grant Round 3 is open for application from Jan 25th to Mar 25th and will hold its community voting round from Mar 23rd to Mar 31st. Round 3 offers a total grant pool of $30,000 plus unlimited community direct contribution.

BNB Grant DAO is a Long-term Funding Program that is always open for application, but application review and fund distribution will happen periodically in sequential rounds. The 3rd round goes from Jan 25th to Mar 25th, 2023.

Submission Period: Jan 25th, 2022 to Mar 25th, 2023

Judging Period: Mar 25th to Apr 1st, 2023

Grantees Announced: Apr 3rd, 2023

Community Voting: Apr 3rd to Apr 13th, 2023

Grace Period for Anti-Sybil Attack Check: Apr 14th to Apr 18th

Result Announcement: Apr 18th

Eligibility

1. Please submit your original work/project. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
2. Submissions should be in English. Can be bilingual.
3. Either the github repo or a public app/website demo should be submitted.
4. Your contact should be valid for the staff to reach out.

Grants

The total grant pool is divided into BUIDLer grants($20,000) and community quadratic funding grant pool($10,000).

BUIDLer’s Grants: $20,000

The grant winners are selected according to judges’ scoring results.

• First Grant: $2,000
• Second Grant: $1,000
• Rising Star Grant: $500

Community Quadratic Funding Grant Pool: $10,000

The grant pool in $10,000 will be distributed based on quadratic funding algorithm, namely the popularity of the grantee projects. The more the voters, the bigger matching grant the project will earn. Meanwhile, all the cost of voting will be sent to the project directly as community funding

*In this voting round, vcDORA will add weight to your votes when you have more than 2 vcDORA.

So the total grant you can potentially hunt for:

• $2000/1000/500 in BUIDLer’s Grants
• Plus Quadratic funding matching grants ($10,000 in total)
• Plus Community contribution from supporters (in BNB, not limited)

*Due diligence will be conducted on the eligibility of every round grantee from BNB Grant DAO. DoraHacks reserves the rights of any revocation/adjustment of the grants.

How Community Will Vote

In Round 3, the results of community voting via $BNB are based on quadratic funding algorithm. When a project is popular among the voters, it’s more likely to get more matching funds from the grant pool.

Besides, vcDORA will add weight to your votes when you have more than 2 vcDORA.
