Eligibility and KYC Requirements

Winners of the Scroll-sponsored track bounty prizes will need to go through a KYC/AML process for payout.

To be eligible to receive the Scroll sponsored bounty prizes:

• You must be of legal age in the jurisdiction in which you reside and have legal capacity to enter into this Hackathon
• You must not be a resident, national, or agent of Ukraine Regions of Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, or any other country to which the United States, the United Kingdom or the European Union embargoes goods or imposes similar sanctions; and
• You must not be a member of any sanctions list or equivalent maintained by the United States government, the United Kingdom government, the European Union, or the United Nations.

We may ask you to provide the following documents in order to complete the KYC/AML process:

• Copy of your identification document (i.e. passport); and
• Proof of residency (eg, a phone bill, utility bill or bank statement).

You may only be able to receive a payout if you successfully complete our KYC requirements within 30 days of being contacted by Scroll at the email you registered for this Hackathon.

Scroll reserves the right to limit or refuse your eligibility for a prize in our sole discretion, where your participation is prohibited by any domestic or foreign law, rule, statute, regulation, by-law, order, code, decree, directive, requirement or guideline that is applicable.
