About Hemera Protocol

Hemera Protocol is building an account-centric indexing network where user accounts are described by "Features". These Features can be created through User Defined Function (UDF) by developers and represent various attributes such as DEX trading volume, engagement on decentralized social platforms, or achievements in on-chain games. Hemera's Account-Centric Indexing (ACI) network executes indexing tasks based on these defined Features and provides data at account level. Hemera Protocol is excited to partner with Taiko for an innovative hackathon, offering a special bounty of $3,000 to developers who create unique, feature-relevant products for the Taiko ecosystem.

Bounty Challenge

We invite developers to build innovative projects that integrate Hemera's UDF approach within the Taiko ecosystem. Eligible submissions should focus on one of these areas:

  1. Develop applications utilizing Hemera's Features (e.g., a dashboard visualizing user Features for a specific dApp on Taiko).
  2. Create tailored, Taiko-specific Features through UDF (e.g., analyzing user trading profiles for a DeFi platform).

Projects will be evaluated on innovation, technical implementation, relevance to Taiko, potential impact, and effective use of Hemera's Feature-based approach.

Funding Distribution

  • Total bounty: $3,000
  • $1,000 for 1 winner in the application development category
  • $2,000 split among qualified UDF builders (maximum 10 participants)
  • Note, prizes will only be distributed if submissions meet our quality expectations. In the event that no submissions meet our quality bar, no prize money will be awarded.

Workshops

Two workshops will be conducted to support participants:

  1. Introduction to Hemera Protocol and functionalities
  2. Hands-on experience in building a UDF on Hemera Protocol

Judging

Arthur, co-founder & CEO of Hemera, will lead the judging process. Shuo Shan, co-founder & CTO of Hemera Sammi, co-founder & CGO of Hemera
