Overview
The Cosmos Hub is the first of many interconnected blockchains powered by the interchain stack: CometBFT, CosmosSDK, and IBC. Its primary token is the ATOM.
Cosmos Hub Africa is a community dedicated to fostering the growth and expansion of Interchain, the Hub, and AEZ in Africa, supported by Atom Accelerator!
Naija HackAtom - The Hackathon dedicated to accelerating the Interchain, Cosmos hub, and the AEZ into Nigeria’s web3 communities, nurturing local talent, providing essential resources, and facilitating the creation of value-driven, production-ready blockchain applications that utilize $ATOM through a series of events and Hackathon from January - March 31st.
The Atom Economic Zone (AEZ) is a revolutionary ecosystem within the Cosmos network, comprising a collection of partially sovereign blockchains. While maintaining their independence, these blockchains are intricately tied to and dependent on the Cosmos Hub and the $ATOM token. The AEZ’s primary objective is to foster collaboration and synergy among its member chains while ensuring that they benefit from the robust security infrastructure of the Cosmos Hub.
Atom Accelerator DAO (AADAO) is a governance-mandated DAO of the Cosmos Hub. We have been formed and mandated to drive value for the Cosmos Hub & ATOM, supporting initiatives that either directly create economic impact or produce value that can drive its growth. From this, our current primary mandates are public grants & venture grants.

Track
Interchain Security (ICS) is an open-source IBC application that allows Cosmos chains to lease their proof-of-stake security to one another. ICS allows anyone to launch a consumer chain using a subset, or even the entire, validator set from the provider chain. This way, provider chain validators start validating the consumer chain as well and so consumer chains inherit security and decentralization from the provider.
The Atom Economic Zone (AEZ) is a collection of semi-sovereign blockchains that all "rent" security from The Cosmos Hub, as well as align themselves & their own tokenomics with the $ATOM token.
CosmWasm The x/wasm module, the root of CosmWasm, is a Cosmos SDK module enabling smart contracts to execute on the CosmWasm virtual machine. CosmWasm itself refers to the whole ecosystem built around it with a mission to make smart contracts development easy and reliable. The focuses of the CosmWasm platform are security, performance, and interoperability. It is tailored for a tight integration with Cosmos SDK and to build IBC contracts.
