The Women Web3 Hackathon, organized by Vottun & Cryptoconexión, aims to become the leading Hackathon for women developers globally. More than 20 web3 women communities from all over the world will come together in October 2024 to empower women developers in the blockchain space and build the future of the internet.
Vottun
Vottun has created a SaaS platform that enables Web2 developers to easily create and manage all sorts of DApps in Web3 through APIs, without requiring advanced knowledge of blockchain programming. An innovative open-source gateway platform for all developers, facilitating a smooth transition from Web2 to Web3 with multi-chain interoperability. The platform is tokenized and gamified so all sort of developers building can get token rewards and have fun entering Web3.
Vottun has been building in the web3 space since 2018 and worked in blockchain projects with over 150 major brands such as PwC, Bimbo, Borges, Mediapro, Nestlé or the Bank of Spain.
Cryptoconexión
Cryptoconexión is an educational platform specialized in Web3 and decentralized economy. A space that features prominent collaborators, tools for in-depth exploration, interviews with influential figures, and event coverage to inform about the ecosystem.

- Digital Collectibles: Create unique NFT collections using ERC-721 or ERC-1155.- Real-world Assets: Tokenize physical assets represented by ERC-20 Tokens.
DeFi
- Decentralized Exchanges: Build next-generation DEXs that enable trading of assets from different blockchains.- Lending and Borrowing: Create lending platforms that allow users to access credit from different blockchains.
Prizes
Up to $50,000 in monetary awards & services.
Submission Requirements
All submission need to use Vottun APIs and include the following;
- Incorporate unique use cases or implementation.
- Demo video illustrating the project in comprehensive detail.
- Links to your code repository, website and socials to help judges review your submission.
- In the README: detail why your team went with the approaches they did.
- In the README: experience developing with Vottun APIs.
Submission Materials: All submission materials must be in English, including the demonstration video, text description, and testing instructions, as well as any other materials submitted.

Criteria for the Prototype Judge (Technical approach)
Innovation | App addresses a market need. App is unique or unique in approach to problem domain. App was ambitious or creative given the timeframe. |

Project Description | Submission clearly defines app purpose and inspiration. Submission fully describes apps features and functionality. Submission describes possible next steps for the project. |
