We're a team of experienced Cosmonauts and genesis members of the Inter-blockchain ecosystem, actively validating transactions since the genesis block. Our validator, S16 Research Ventures, is serving as a validator for both Cosmos Hub and Osmosis. Team members: Edward - Founder & Project Lead Edward is founder and CEO at S16 Research Ventures -- and has been a dedicated Cosmonaut since 2017. He has extensive experience in economics, finance and technology, and is also a recent graduate from the Interchain Academy. Edward received a degree in Economics-Accounting from Claremont McKenna College. Arifin - Backend Engineer Arifin completed his bachelor's degree from the Bandung Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering. He has 5 years of software development experience, and in 2022, he transitioned to crypto after graduating from the Interchain Developer Academy. He is currently developing a Cosmos app chain, blockchain tools, hunting airdrops, and participating in testnet. Winton - Backend Engineer Starting out as a backend engineer in 2016 with past experience including but not limited to IoT, fraud detection and stock exchange system/protocol. Graduated from Interchain Developer Academy, he is pursuing technical excellence in web3 starting with the cosmos hub ecosystem and Inter-Blockchain Communication protocol. Currently at S16 Research Ventures with main focus on research/implementation of blockchain protocols, consensus algorithms, and the intricacies of decentralised application development. Rafi - Product Lead Product, tech, and innovation enthusiast, currently at S16 Research Ventures—a leading web3 fund and validator. Specialising in blockchain and Cosmos ecosystem, he shapes product vision, drives market fits, and offers insights for overall product management. With a mix of business acumen and creativity, he leads cross-functional teams using user-centred design, agile principles, and tech expertise. Educated in International Political Economy and completed an entrepreneurship course at MIT. Vina - Operation Lead Discovered Cosmos in 2022 and has been a dedicated Cosmonaut since. Completed her studies with a degree in International Marketing at Binus University. She holds a wealth of experience in crafting and managing company operation teams within startups, ensuring a seamless operational foundation that allows startups to concentrate on their core projects.
