\n\n# Judging Criteria\n**20% public rating + 80% expert rating**\n\nThe KEN Labs technical team and invited professionals form a judging panel to judge the projects in the following dimensions:\n\n- Technical complexity\n- Creativity\n- Ecological contribution degree\n- Market potential\n- Project integrity(code and design)\n\n**The rating process is as follows:**\n\n- Each team representative will be invited to a 12 minutes online roadshow (10 mins for demo and 2 mins for Q&A).\n- As all the project teams complete the roadshows, the judging panel rate, and announce the final winning teams.\n\n**Public Rating（20%）**\n\n- Time: 8pm CST, 15/06\n- Channel: KEN Labs official account\n- Submit information: Team picture + introduction / slogan, etc., within 150 words\n- Rating criteria: The team with most votes scores 20 points. \n2.Participants need to **build open source projects based on IPFS related technologies**.
\n3.Submitted projects can be ideas generated before the competition, or can use external open source tools, but **the core code and functional implementation need to be completed during the hackathon**.
\n4.Any code or materials must be **submitted by 14/06**.
\n5.**Project submission**
\nEach team need to creat a dedicated github repository. Teams must make sure all the code and other materials are submitted by the deadline of the competition.
\nDemo PPT (mandatory), Demo (optional), video (optional) and other related materials, If the team doesn't mind being visible to all, could also be uploaded to the corresponding repository before the end of the competition. Or send it to info@kencloud.com as the judging material for the judges. No materials can be submitted or modified when the competition time is up.
\n6.**The intellectual property rights of the entries are owned by the team.** After the competition, all the source code of the projects will be **open source for reference by all sectors of the community**.
\n7.The submitter of the project must promise that **the content of the external material submitted or cited is legal** and does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others, otherwise he will be disqualified from the competition.

\nSubmissions will be rated with decimal numbers between 1(worst) - 100 (best) by each judge and multiply by expert rating factor 0.8.

\n\n# Dora Grant DAO — Long-term Funding Program\n\nDora Grant DAO is a community-driven program to fund the hacker movement - explore and assist hackers with innovative ideas, and eventually help them build important products for the future of multi-chain Web3 ecosystem.\n\nThe grantees will be offered the valuable opportunities to obtain funding to further develop their projects (BUIDLs) and achieve milestones that they have set out. Meanwhile, they will also get access to the Dora community and corresponding resources helpful for the teams in the further development.\n\nAll BUIDLs will be screened before entering community voting. **The 7th screening and funding round of Dora Grant DAO will provide up to $50k to fund BUIDL proposals**, based on zero-knowledge voting results of [vcDORA community](https://doraresear.ch/2022/09/16/vcdora/). Voting will happen on DoraHacks.io.\n\n# Eligibility\n\n**We’ll prioritize providing grants and funding to projects that falls under the below categories:**\n\n- Projects committed to building key blockchain infrastructure and applications, such as CookBook (a grantee of the second round of the Dora Grant DAO).\n\n- Community and media organizations that grows the Public Good Staking community and/or the DoraHacks hackathon community. Communities and media organizations advocating the development of the Appchain ecosystem.\n\n- Projects dedicated to building Appchain infrastructure and public goods, for example, Confio (developers of CosmWasm), PingPub (an open-source blockchain explorer), and Dora Vota MACI (providing open MACI infrastructure), etc.\n\n- Research and tools related to funding public goods, including the innovative design of governance tools.\n\n- Projects related to the Dora Vota ecosystem, including Vota network infrastructure, IBC-related tools, MACI derivative applications, and research on MACI.\n\n- Early-stage startup projects from multi-chain and emerging Appchain ecosystems.\n\n**Dora Grant DAO will fund three types of BUIDLs/ideas:**\n\n**1.** Multi-chain Web3 infrastructures and toolings solving critical problems;\n\n**2.** Crypto-native applications;\n\n**3.** Intersections between crypto and other frontier technologies;\n\n**The screening rounds are based on several criteria** to make sure that BUIDL proposals entering vcDORA community voting session would meet the mandate of Dora Grant DAO:\n\n**1.** A real, legit team. \n\n**2.** The team members have proper background and intention to build the proposed product. \n\n**3.** The team is product- / technology-focused. \n\n**4.** The team builds products based on the First Principles. \n\n**5.** MVP / early-stage product available and team is actively developing with a clear roadmap.
*Or, funding BUIDL idea is possible when the idea is thoroughly thought through. In this case, papers or articles are required to present the idea, its development and application in the real world.\n\n**6.** Early-stage BUIDLs (pre-PMF is acceptable): startups/projects that have not launched private round, seed funding round or any further fundraising rounds.\n\n**7.** BUIDL proposal should be aligned with the interests of vcDORA community.\n\n*All applicants can apply for future round if with iterative progress. \n\n# Funding Pool Allocation Rules\n\nDora Grant DAO comes in a total amount of $50,000 in the 7th application review and funding round, and the rules for allocation are as follows: \n\n- Selected BUIDLs must **submit a Grant Funding Proposal** prior to participating in the Community Voting.\n\n- Community Voting will determine which BUIDLs‘ Grant Funding Proposal will be approved.\n\n- **The prize will be awarded in the order of the Community Voting results**.
