WEAVE currently has 17 team members with 10 full-time and 7 part-time, including 5 experienced developers, 3 founders, and 1 legal advisor. The project started with a seed of an idea to make Defi more accessible to the masses. One of our founders, Jonathan had more than 10 years wealth management and trading experience with a trade-blog "Trade Wise" and a Youtube channel with 12K subs. He spotted both an opportunity in DeFi to earn yield and make profits, whilst also finding the sector extremely complex and fragmented. The idea of Copy-farming (instead of copy-trading) was born to allow users to very easily earn yield, even if they have little or no crypto experience. But where can we source profitable, sustainable professional farming strategies? The co-founders realised that they needed to build something intuitive, yet powerful for crypto professionals, enabling WEAVE PRO to build their own farming strategy with ZERO coding knowledge needed. CTO, Andreas, is a programming veteran who started coding in solidity in late 2017. He worked in a professional SW consulting firm before putting his full efforts into WEAVE. He has helped to mastermind something truly unique in DeFi - a drag and drop strategy builder that creates a yield farming smart contract for its users. CEO, Stephen, is well connected with different protocols and communities that helps WEAVE to expand footprints to more users.
