All submissions must be made in English.\n\nIdeas submitted in this Ideathon may not be related to initial coin offerings, digital asset trading, currency price discussions, games related to gambling, or contain elements related to gambling.\n\nParticipants must own or otherwise have all the rights to the content of their submission and the submission must not contain material that violates or infringes another party's rights, including without limitation, privacy and intellectual property rights. \n\nBy entering this Ideathon, participants agree that the judges' decisions regarding the winners are final and binding.\n \nParticipants may not engage in conduct or submit content to the Ideathon that is illegal, defamatory, offensive, or otherwise harmful to others. This includes, but is not limited to, conduct or content that is harassing, inappropriate, expressing racial or other bigotry, and/or abusive. ICF reserves the right to remove such entries from the Ideathon and/or ban the participant(s) from this event and from participating in any future events hosted by the Interchain Foundation or its affiliates. \n\nParticipants may be disqualified if they are found to be acting in violation of these rules or in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner or if they are found tampering with the operation of the Ideathon. The ICF reserves the rights to seek damages and other remedies from any such participant to the fullest extent permitted by law.\n\n**Prizes**\nTotal Prize Pool: $30,000 USD equivalent in ATOM token at the ATOM/USD closing price from the day before the payment date according to www.coinmarketcap.com. \nPrize Pool per Track: $6,000 USD equivalent in ATOM token.\n- $3,000 USD in ATOM - first prize winner\n- $1,500 USD in ATOM - second prize winner\n- 3x third prize winners at $500 USD each. \n\nEach participant or each team of participants is required to set up a wallet address, as directed by ICF, in order to receive the cash component of the prize. If the participants fail to provide the ICF with a wallet address within 30 days of the announcement of the winners, the prize will be forfeited.\n\nIn addition to the cash prize, the first-place winners from each track will be awarded a trip to Istanbul to the IBC Idea Incubator to work on their idea, contingent upon their acceptance of separate participation terms. The ICF will sponsor the participants’ travel expenses, accommodation, and participation in the Incubator. Participation in the trip is voluntary; however, winners are not entitled to request a monetary equivalent for the trip. Winners will be responsible for securing their own travel visas and making any similar arrangements.\nThe prizes are non-transferable and no substitution is permitted, except with the express permission of ICF. If the prize, or any portion thereof, cannot be awarded for any reason, ICF reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value.\n\n**Prize Eligibility** \nThe submission of multiple ideas for a single track is permitted, but only one of the submitted ideas is eligible to win for that track. A participant can have a winning idea in more than one track. The same ideas cannot be submitted for multiple tracks.\n\nParticipation is only permitted for natural persons, not legal entities.\n\nParticipants must be the age of majority in their country of residence or at least 18 years of age, whichever is older at the start of the Ideathon. If you do not meet these requirements but wish to participate, please reach out to legal@interchain.io and we will make a decision on a case-by-case basis in our sole discretion.\n\nThe event is open to both individual participants and teams. Teams can have a maximum of two members. The prizes indicated are a total amount per team, not per team member. Teams must name a team leader in charge of uploading the submission. All prizes will be provided to the team leader. For teams of two members, both team members are able to participate in the IBC Incubator trip. \n\nPersons who receive grants from the ICF for their work on a project, members of organizations who receive ICF funding, and employees of the ICF and its affiliates, as well as the immediate family of such persons, are not eligible to participate. \n\nThe disbursement of prizes to participants is contingent upon adherence to relevant sanction regimes. The list of sanctioned countries includes but is not limited to: Afghanistan, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, Syria, the Crimea/Sevastopol, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions of Ukraine, Venezuela, and Yemen. Any temporary or permanent residents of any country in which the Ideathon participation is prohibited by law or would impose undue hardship on either the participant and/or the ICF based on applicable national or multinational jurisdiction export control or sanctions restrictions as well as participants subject to U.S. or other applicable sanctions, including those imposed by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control and participants employed by an entity which is subject to U.S. blocking sanctions, entity list restrictions, or other applicable asset freeze or prohibited party sanctions are not eligible to participate.\n\nThe disbursement of prizes is contingent upon adherence to our due diligence requirements. We reserve the right to conduct \"know-your-customer\" checks at our own discretion and will request pertinent information from the participants and teams as needed. Payment will be executed once these checks have been completed.\n\n\n**Intellectual Property Rights** \nAll submissions remain the intellectual property of the individuals or organizations that developed them. By submitting an entry, participants agree that ICF will have a fully paid, non-exclusive license to use such entry for judging the entry.\n\nParticipants agree that ICF shall have the right to promote the submission and use the name, likeness, voice and image of all individuals contributing to a submission, in any materials promoting or publicizing the Ideathon and its results, for the duration of the Ideathon and for three years thereafter.\n\nSome submission components may be displayed to the public. Other submission materials may be viewed by the sponsor and judges for screening and evaluation.
