A large gain in efficiency for quantum algorithms can be attributed to developments in Hamiltonian simulation methods, and the optimal combination of techniques may be different depending on the characteristics of your Hamiltonian. In this challenge, your task is to simulate the excited states of a simple molecule using quantum computing techniques, specifically leveraging Hamiltonian simulation.\n\n**Problem Statement:**\n\nYou are tasked with simulating the ground and first excited state of LiH using a quantum algorithm. Your goal is to implement an algorithm that includes Hamiltonian simulation to calculate the molecule's ground and excited states.
