Why MACI Quadratic Voting

What's MACI?

The Minimal Anti-Collusion Infrastructure (MACI) is a secure, private, on-chain voting system designed to minimize cheating risks like bribery and collusion. Using zero-knowledge proofs, MACI ensures receipt-free voting, making it so only the vote coordinator can verify individual votes while allowing anyone to verify overall results. This makes MACI particularly valuable for governance and funding events, ensuring fair and transparent outcomes.

What’s the difference between regular QF at the Grant and MACI-QV?

In regular QF(Quadratic Funding), voters will need to use certain tokens (such as ATOM) to cast votes while make direct contributions to the grantees. Contribution portal for active grantees is always open. How to contribute>> For details, switch to “detail” tab to learn more.

Part of the grant funding pool(31,111 USDC) will be distributed based on MACI voting results, the other part (8,000 ATOM) will be decided by the regular Quadratic Funding results at https://dorahacks.io/aez
