Hackathon Timeline:

  • Phase 1 (May 7 - May 26): Open Registration & Road to Hackathon Workshop
  • Phase 2 (May 28 - June 4): Training Session & AMA Online 7 days offline&online training & AMA Online to explain rule and Q&A sessions.
  • Phase 3 (June 5 - June 6) - Hacking Day
  • Phase 4 (June 8) - Pitching Day and Award Ceremony

Hackathon Rule

  • Teams must have no more than 4 hackers and at least 1 hacker
  • Team must have at least 1 hacker physically in attendance on hacking day June 5-6.
  • You don't have to be in Rust 100%, only one or a few function of your projects are in Rust is acceptable. If the smart contract are in Rust is a plus
  • All codes/repositories required to run your project must be submitted. You cannot steal another team's source code.
  • Judges will make the final decision on whether a project will qualify for prize consideration.

Judging Criteria

  • Technical Merit Complexity and skill required for project implementation. Code quality, including writing style and organization.
  • Originality Uniqueness of the project concept and its approach. Creativity in addressing a specific problem or need within the Web3
  • Practicality Potential for real-world application and addressing a genuine need in the Web3 and modular space.

Project Submission

  • The BUIDL submited should include:
  • Video Demo (1.5 - 5 min)
  • Description of the project including:
  • Introduction of the project
  • Github repository link of the project
  • How it's made? Reasons why this project is applicable to the bounties
  • Brief introduction of the team members.
  • (Should include contact information of the team lead)
  • Any links that might be helpful to the judges.
  • (For example, presentation slides within 10 pages, demo site, contract link)
