ABOUT SUPER DEMO DAY

As part of EDCON, Super Demo Day serves as a springboard for the startups or projects that promote the development of Ethereum technology and its ecosystem. Our mission is to cast a spotlight on technological advancements to accelerate widespread adoption of Ethereum and interoperable technologies across the blockchain landscape.

Accepted participants will present their projects to judges in 10-minute segments. The top 3 teams will claim their spot on the EDCON main stage July 29-30 in an Olympic Stadium to showcase their work to the global community. The top three teams will split a prize pool starting at $10,000, subject to increase with additional sponsorships.

SUPER DEMOデーは、EDCONの一環として、イーサリアムテクノロジーとそのエコシステムの開発を促進するスタートアップやプロジェクトの出発点として機能します。技術の進歩にスポットライトを当て、ブロックチェーン環境全体でイーサリアムと相互運用可能なテクノロジーの広範な導入の加速を使命として開催されます。

参加者は、10分のセグメントで審査員の前でプロジェクトのプレゼンテーションを行います。上位3チームは、7月29日から30日にかけてオリンピックスタジアムで開催される EDCONメインステージへの出場権を獲得し、自身の成果を世界のコミュニティに披露します。上位3チームで賞金プール10,000ドルを分けることになりますが、追加のスポンサーシップにより賞金プールが増額される可能性があります。

ELIGIBILITY

  • Submit just one application per startup to maintain eligibility. Coordinate with your team to avoid duplicate submissions.

  • The startup must not exceed $5 million in total funding from all sources.

  • Your product/service must have early customers and its functionality verifiable. Ideas without real-world application will be disqualified.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're spotlighting early-stage startups - particularly those at the pre-seed or early seed phase - and we're excited about the following themes:

  • Interoperability: Infrastructure tooling that empowers different blockchain systems to freely exchange data, messages, and assets.
  • Consumer Applications: Projects aspiring to create applications that onboard the next wave of web3 users.
  • Public Goods / ReFi: Projects working to align financial systems with ecological and social regeneration for sustainable development.
  • Crypto X AI: Startups exploring the intersection of Crypto and AI, such as decentralizing AI.
  • DePin / DeRen: Blockchain networks that use tokens to incentivize the creation of physical or resource infrastructure networks.
  • Other: If your project or idea doesn't neatly fit into any of the predefined categories, we want to hear about it!

PRIZE DETAILS

Winners can expect to receive their prize within 3 weeks after EDCON 2024 concludes on July 30, 2024. Payment will be made in USDC / USDT. KYC will be required to receive payment.

受賞者には、EDCON2024が2024年7月30日の閉幕後3週間以内に賞金をお渡しできる予定です。支払いはUSDC / USDTで行わいます。受け取りにはKYCが必要となります。

Since its inception in 2017, the Ethereum Community Developers Conference (EDCON) has emerged as a cornerstone event for the Web3 community, spotlighting the host country’s influence in the blockchain and Web3 sectors.
