The Tracks

  • Fan Utility Projects : Retail-facing platforms focus on optimally utilizing Fan Tokens for experiences in social, commerce, and live events.
  • SportFi Projects : DEX, Lending or SocialFi, whether or not if you integrate Fan Tokens directly, along with SportFi infrastructure projects such as Oracles and transaction facilitation tools, are all part of the discussion.

Every participants are allowed to participate in more than one track.

The Qualification Requirements

  • Operational Smart Contracts: Projects must have functional smart contracts.
  • Thematic Connection to Sports: Projects must be related to Sports. Please refer to Socios.com for verticals and leading global sports brands for inspiration.

The Scoring Criteria

  • Concept: Innovation and originality. (30%).
  • Technical Execution: Quality and feasibility of implementation. (50%).
  • User Engagement: Potential to attract and engage users (20%).

The Regulations

Original Work: All submissions must be original work created during the hackathon period.

Open Source: Projects must be open source and shared publicly on Dorahack.

The Process

1. Initial Submission

  • Submit your BUIDL via DoraHacks.io. Before that, make sure that you already have an account.
  • Please include a detailed description, goals, and technical requirements.
  • Deadline for submissions is 13th July 11:59pm UTC+2 .

2. Screening & Selection

  • An initial screening will be conducted by a panel of Chiliz experts to ensure all projects meet the qualification requirements.
  • Projects will be assessed based on innovation, feasibility, and alignment with the hackathon theme.
  • Our experts will review the submissions and select two standout projects to move forward.
  • Additionally, three other projects will be selected for the Chiliz Community Award and invited to present their ideas in a Twitter Space event.

3. Chiliz Community Award

  • The selected teams will present their projects to the Chiliz community in a live Twitter Space.
  • Community members will vote for their favorite project, contributing to the Community Award selection.

4. Announcement of Winners

  • Winners will be announced on 20th July 10am CEST .
  • Prizes and additional benefits will be distributed accordingly.

5. Development Phase

  • Selected teams will be notified and given access to Chiliz Labs resources.

6. Mid-Point Review

  • Teams will present their progress to the Chiliz experts for feedback and guidance ensuring projects are on track and provide additional support if needed.
