Fairblock is building a chain-agnostic framework that makes it easy for developers to implement privacy-preserving transactions at critical paths. We think of cryptographic schemes as different tools in a toolbox, and there is no one-size-fits-all solution when building privacy into applications. Leveraging advanced cryptographic schemes including identity-based encryption (IBE), witness encryption (WE), and fully homomorphic encryption (FHE), Fairblock is building blockchain infrastructure for programmable privacy and conditional decryption. These technologies help protect the content of transactions from bots, competitors, and other adversaries.

This can be useful for a wide range of decentralized applications where asymmetric information limits the design space, including:

Encrypted on-chain intents (limit orders, stop-loss orders, programmable trading)

With Fairblock, any Cosmos chain can integrate with Fairblock, which allows their users to have the option for encrypted transactions in the same frontend, and enable their developers to enjoy the unlock the wide range of applications.

To show capacities of our technology, we have already implemented three different applications that can be used by Cosmos chains:

Private Governance module: Keeps votes private when you are voting for proposals e.g. for Cosmos Hub, and saves the ecosystem from manipulations
Private limit orders: Stores limit orders on-chain and keeps them private until execution on chians like Osmosis.
Randomness generation: Can be used for a wide range of applications including DeFi e.g. Injective, gaming e.g. Saga, NFT e.g. Stargaze etc
