DeFi is replacing the world financial system, but currently has some challenges. It's slow and incredibly expensive on Ethereum ($300 for one interaction i.e. supply/borrow/withdraw). Solana solves these problems, but doesn't have a lending ecosystem.

Solend allows anyone with an internet connection to earn interest on their assets and manage collateralized loans. It also allows users to create leverage long or short positions, use LP positions as collateral, and use interest bearing ctokens in other DeFi dapps. Solend is bootstrapping a credit market on Solana, a crucial primitive of any financial system.
