Originally idealized for the XDC Community, SnapVox was created to Enable Decentralized Autonomous Organizations on the XDC Network as a support tool to help communities make decisions.

DAO Spaces
Snapvox aim to give access to DAOs an easy to manage governance tool. New Decentralized Organizations that focus on operating in the XDC Network can apply to be part of the ecosystem.
Enabled for Multi-Wallets
Snapvox supports both Metamask and XDCPay. You can choose how to connect but the dApp only works when you are connected to XDC Mainet and XDC Apothem Testnet. Currently Snapvox has been deployed only on Apothem Testnet.
Verified Communities
Any community can go over the verification process. The verification process is a community vetting process on the SnapVox DAO Space. For the verification process to be accepted, it must:
- At least 100 valid voting addresses in the voting process;
- At least 60% of the quorum votes for YES (at least 60 votes for yes);
Verified communities have the following perks:
- Will have 50% of any residual taxes paid during proposals tunneled to its official treasury addresses;
- Will be shown at the top of the SnapVox webpage;
- Will have a Verified logo next to its title;
- Will be able to have one address create vetted proposals on the SnapVox DAO space besides its own community space;
Fully Compatible with Markdown
Snapvox is fully compatible with markdown markup language to make things easier to developers and community members who are already used to GitHub, Dorahacks, and many more platforms that offers formatting options to creators.
Intuitive Interface
Based on Snapshot interface, Snapvox main focus is provide the best user experience to voters and proposal creators.
SnapVox DAO First Voting Event 2023
SnapVox's first voting event will occur during the ETHToronto Virtual Hackathon and aims to showcase SnapVox dashboard the Hackathon.
This first voting event aims to promote SnapVox and invite users to try the solution. To try SnapVox on the XDC Apothem Tesnet, please visit the Apothem Faucet (https://faucet.apothem.network) and request some TESNET XDC to get started.
The Decision
This voting event will have three options:
YES to the idea of having SnapVox First Voting Event NFT holder's lifetime participation in fees collected as voting toll (5% of all voting tolls are distributed monthly to these NFT owners).
NO to the idea of having SnapVox First Voting Event NFT holder's lifetime participation in fees.
ABSTAIN from voting.
🚨 If you vote for any of these three options, you will be entitled to a SnapVox First Voting Event NFT issued to eligible addresses (after the Sybil check). This NFT drop will happen on XDC Mainet by the date the ETH Toronto Winners are announced.
The NFT Drop
The SnapVox First Voting Event NFT is an NFT that portrays the SnapVox mascot Snappy. Besides being cute, this NFT is a nice Proof-of-Participation token we will grant to our early adopters (AKA. Anyone who votes in this event).
