Summary
Chandra Station is building a fork of canto.io to be used to interact with Althea. The fork will have staking, governance, and bridging capabilities through IBC & and Gravity Bridge.
Why a fork?
canto.io already includes EVMfunctionality in order to interact with a chain like Althea which allows us to build on top of an already working and reliable platform. This will result in a web application to interact with the chain on launch and the development of more Althea related functions in the app.

- Governance - Vote on proposals
- Staking - Delegate to validators
- Bridge - An interface to bridge tokens to and from Althea
On-top of the core functionality we are also adding different ways to stake like; A function to distribute your delegation to multiple validators in a fair and decentralized manner. A function to immediately delegate away from jailed validators, and other functionality according to the demands of the network.
While working on this application we are also actively opening and maintaining IBC channels and operating nodes/public endpoints.

Update, the conversion is in a finished state but will need updates to environment variables like ibc channel numbers etc.
