Share decentralized-yet-private(thanks to IPFS) content with your top fans!

What is the private content economy?

There are content creators who want to create very quality content and want only those top fans to access these content who provide direct monetization to them. We are calling the economy around this as the private content economy.

Problems with the current private content economy?

Dependency on centralized system

What if the service on which the creator hosted their content goes down? What if the service decides to ban that particular creator for whatever reason? The creator is helpless before such centralized systems!

High commissions to store content

The centralized services charge a significant portion of the creators' earning as maintenance fee: this leads to lesser income of the creator.

Not encrypted, prone to leaks

It is not new to hear of news that due to certain vulnerabilities in the centralized system, the content got leaked. On top of it, they rarely care to encrypt the data and then store it.

Solution: Enters Fanstop 😎

Fanstop is a decentralized-yet-private content sharing platform for creators where they can:

  1. Store content on IPFS(so decentralized)
  2. Remain worry-free because their content are first encrypted and then stored on IPFS
  3. Token-gate their content; so only that fan who possesses a certain NFT can truly access the data (Of course, the NFT would be provided/auctioned by the creator and it would be a guarantee of access to their private content!)
  4. With Chainsafe, 20GB content could be hosted for free!

High-level positive flow:

  • User has the correct NFT in their wallet.
  • User goes to app and connects his wallet.
  • Voila! He is able to view the content!

High-level negative flow (A):

  • User goes to the app but does not connect his wallet and tries to view the content.
  • Oops! He is unable to view the content!

High-level negative flow (B):

  • User has a random NFT in their wallet.
  • User goes to app and connects his wallet.
  • Oops! He is unable to view the content!
