ZiberBugs is a PvP focused, competitive autobattler created for gamers with a ‘fun first’ principle. It aspires to greatly increase the number of professional gamers in the world. The game seeks the perfect balance between people wanting to pay for entertainment and people wanting to contribute to the ecosystem and getting rewarded for it.
The NFT Gaming industry is brand new, and it’s become more and more obvious that crypto games require an element of fun to remain sustainable. This game is developed with the Fun First principle, thus intended to maintain value and playability without financial incentive. As with many other games, there are both PvP and PvE elements in this game. The PvP part is aimed toward the competitor personality, while the PvE elements focus more on the gatherer mentality and puzzler. Both are an essential part of the financial ecosystem.
ZiberBugs does not implement classical versions of Play to Earn (grinding the game for a certain time period per day to get rewarded in an earning currency), as we believe that acquiring sustainability with such solutions is hard. Instead, ZiberBugs have coined a new earning philosophy called Excel to Earn. The philosophy behind it is that the better you perform in the game, the more you get rewarded. The rewards are taken from a fund called the PvP Rewards fund that consists of a big allocation of initial tokens and a stream of income from the majority of all fees paid into the game. The rewards will be allocated as prizes of the ranked season finale and tournaments. To get a share of it, you must be a top performer in either or both. The percentage of top performers receiving a prize will depend on the growth of the PvP Rewards fund, i.e. how much fees are paid into the game through breeding and marketplace sales.
