YapChain is a technology we developed leveraging NEAR, React, Adaptable, Next.js, and Express.js among other software and incorporates over 100 hand-drawn pixel art sprites into Yapper—a social media app based on the decentralized NEAR blockchain to prevent corporations from selling your data and to promote user autonomy. Yapper is also a proximity based social media, where users can navigate rooms, chat and explore digital worlds with unique and anonymous people while bonding over a decentralized social media, where you can see other users “yaps,” or essentially, messages and social media posts. Finally, we also have a profile feature, showing all recent exchanges and messages on a ledger from an anonymous individual.
