zkPaper is a project that aims to bridge blockchain and security solutions for creating and editing private documents. Our project implements a valid application protocol where users can buy documents as NFTs and can work on these documents locally in the browser privately and consistently. No one, besides the user and their invited peers, will ever be able to read the content of the documents, not even our application. Our goal is to implement a text editor where users can write any content, private messages, passwords, and more. Once the content is created the application generates a proof of authorship attesting that the user in fact wrote the document using the browser. Users can share their documents in private with anyone, without compromising the safety of the information and the application.
