DoraHacks is delighted to further deepen their relationship with Cronos through a strategic partnership with Cronos, a fast-growing blockchain platform, to support the development of innovative projects in the blockchain ecosystem. Through this partnership, DoraHacks will host hackathons, provide incubation for Cronos ecosystem projects, host a Cronos GrantDAO, and support the Cronos Accelerator Program.
This strategic partnership will leverage the expertise of both companies to create a unique ecosystem that supports innovation and public good staking, and accelerates the adoption of blockchain technology. Some of the key programs and initiatives which DoraHacks will support Cronos with are:
Accelerator Program
DoraHacks is proud to support the Cronos Accelerator program where projects that are a part of the program will be mentored, receive funding, and support from DoraHacks as well as other industry leaders. We are looking forward to providing our resources, and expertise to help the early stage startups within the program grow and succeed.
Hackathons
After hosting a successful Cronos Hackathon in late 2021, DoraHacks looks forward to hosting a number of hackathons using their native platform dorahacks.io in 2023, with the platform offering bounties, quadratic funding, privacy voting, and other community governance/funding toolkits. We will also assist in co-hosting workshops and demo sessions with the Cronos team for the community to learn more about the ecosystem and gain some know-hows about BUIDLing within Cronos.
Cronos GrantDAO
DoraHacks will launch a Cronos GrantDAO to support community-driven innovation in the Cronos ecosystem. The GrantDAO will be a decentralized autonomous organization that will fund projects based on community voting. This model allows the community to decide which projects to fund, creating a more democratic and decentralized approach to innovation. Dora Factory is validating the Cronos network, with the yield generated being used to support this initiative, creating a long term sustainable model that will help support BUIDLers who are positively contributing towards the ecosystem. This model supports developers by allowing them to continue BUIDLing and receive rewards as they reach key milestones along the way.
