Prizes
💰 Prize Pool - $5,000 USD
Plus, 2 fast tracks to Codebase Season 2 Incubator Interview.
The prize pool will be distributed among the selected winners of this track. This decision will be made by the Avalanche Team.
About Codebase
Codebase is the official Avalanche incubator. This season will feature 5 teams, $50k (non-dilutive grant) each, $1M prize pool. 3 out of 5 teams will walk away with min $250k.
Each team will have a dedicated Ava Labs advisory team, an advisor from the AVAX ecosystem (founder, operator, or investor), a 2-hour/week storytelling coaching session, and a weekly seminar on building a web3 startup throughout the 10-week program.
Investment
If the submission is exceptionally impressive, and the team behind its development is interested in pursuing its development further, there is potential for support and consideration for investment in the future from the Avalanche Blizzard Fund.
About Avalanche Hackathon Track
This track is aimed at developers who want to leverage Avalanche’s advanced capabilities to build scalable and customized projects. Projects must be deployed on an Avalanche blockchain, either on the C-chain or by deploying a custom EVM-powered blockchain as your own L1 specifically for hosting your dApp. Extra points will be awarded to those implementing Avalanche-specific features.
Participants have the freedom to build any type of application, including DeFi, SocialFi, NFTs, Gaming, RWA, infrastructure/tooling, or other innovative solutions. The goal is to keep the bounty open-ended, so feel free to ask us if you have any ideas that don’t seem to fit under these descriptions.
Bonus Opportunities
Exceptional submissions may be considered for investment by the Avalanche Blizzard Fund.

Acceptance and Judging Criteria
The only criteria for a chance to win our bounties is that developers build on Avalanche. Submissions will be judged on the value proposition, technical complexity, innovation, and objective feasibility of the broader idea
Bonus Points if uses an Avalanche Specific Feature
- Deploy on your own L1: Host and own your own infrastructure
Skills requires: interact with CLI, or using AvaCloud (no code)
Difficulty :🔥
- Enable existing Precompile: Enable Allow Lists, Native minter contract, manage fees, incentives through precompiled contracts.
Skills required: CLI
