We are excited to announce that Harmony, the open and fast blockchain, is launching a Harmony Grant Hackathon on DoraHacks.io! Developers and open-source projects are welcome to join us with the chance to compete for a $150,000 prize pool.

All participating teams and projects will get technical/business/strategic support from Harmony. Projects specializing in DAOs, Metaverse, Games, NFT, DeFi, Bridges, Middleware and Infrastructure are welcome to participate in the hackathon. Whether you are a newbie developer or a development wizard ‘Soldier’, the hackathon is open for everyone! Let’s scale trust and create a radically fair economy together.

• $100,000 in Judge’s Prizes

What is QF (Quadratic Funding)

Quadratic Voting is a voting scheme introduced and often discussed in the Radical Markets community. It is often considered an innovative improvement of the traditional 1-person-1-vote model. With a quadratic voting algorithm, the cost of each vote to a single project from a single contributor will increase, encouraging the community contributors to vote for more projects.

Individual community contributors can vote for their preferred projects to push them ahead in the funding round. Votes are directly donated to the respective projects after the round.
