DoraHacks Web3 Blockchain Hackathon in Austin is a 24-hour hackathon on May 15-16th in Austin, Texas. We aim to We aim to unite and support early-stage blockchain enthusiasts and projects in fields like Defi, DAO, NFT, Metaverse, ZK Rollup, MEV, Layer 2 technologies on Ethereum, Polkadot, Filecoin, Flow & Solana. We also encourage you to build on whatever ideas you find interesting from scratch.
Voting Rules – Judges Hacker team and expert judges have voting rights for $12,000 grant. Every participating hacker team has 3 votes, and you cannot vote for your own team. Every judge has 3 votes. Suggested voting criteria: Technical soundness Usability Potential for sustainable development Everyone can win a portion of the prize pool as large as $12000 The prize you win = (The votes you receive/Total # of votes) x Total Prize Pool For example, there are 100 total votes. Every vote = $12000/100 = $120. If your team receives 10 votes, your team will win $1200.
Voting Rules – Community Community participants have voting rights for $3000 grant. Community votes via USDC. The USDC of each vote is incremented by quadratic funding. No votes limit applies. USDC votes will be directly awarded to hacking teams. Community voting channel closes at 3 PM on May 16th, 2021. Community judges have discretion to vote.
