Welcome to Waves Global Hackathon 2022. Running online from 15th October, 2022 until 23rd March, 2023 with one of the leading hackathon organizers DoraHacks. We look forward to you joining us as we bring together different people throughout the industry from creators, artists, developers, and entrepreneurs to create innovative projects that can run on the Waves blockchain and which seek to change the world of tomorrow today. This year there is a prize pool of $100,000.
Waves Hackathon 2022 is the place to showcase your talent to the world. With cash prizes, and both developer and marketing support throughout the event. You could even find yourself with seed funding through our accelerator program - Waves Camp.

Hackathon opening date 15th October 1 pm UTC
Final date for projects to submit project info through DoraHack website 23rd March, 2023 11:59PM UTC
Step 1 - Hackathon open for submissions (15th October, 2022 - 23rd March, 2023) - Project to submit info including description, team details, github, demo and contacts details. Teams can join at any point of the hackathon.
Step 2 - Waves Workshops (15th October - 30th November, 2022) - Attend our 4 workshops from some of our leading mentors and core team developers.
Step 3 - Project Demo Days (13th March - 23rd March, 2023) - Individual projects are invited to showcase their projects in the lead up to judging. Here is your chance to catch the judging team's eye.
Step 4 - Judging round (24th March - 30th March, 2023)
Step 5 - Winners announcement & Demos And prizes awared (30th March - 3rd April, 2023) - Winning project demos and closing ceremony streamed via DoraHacks Youtube channel & Waves YT channel.

Getting Started
- BUILDers should submit their BUIDL projects via https://dorahacks.io/hackathon/waves/detail. But before that, make sure that you already have an account.
Use the Sign in/up button at the upper right corner of the page to access the sign-up options.
Github, crypto wallet and email are supported for creating an account. For BUIDLers, we recommend you to connect the account to your github to make more people know what you are building at any time.
*You may be asked to receive a verification code via email. The email may take some time to arrive. No worries! The code will not expire in 10 minutes when you click “send code”.
2. Before the submission of DDL on March 23, 2023, please make sure you have added your Github link to the project. You can submit the project first, edit it later before the DDL.
Go to https://dorahacks.io/hackathon/waves/detail and click “Submit BUIDL”.
→ If you already have a BUIDL on DoraHacks
Choose your BUIDL project from "Apply with Existing BUIDL" and identify the track you want to join.
→ If you want to submit a new BUIDL
Before submitting, you need to create a BUIDL project. Click “Create a new BUIDL” and fill in the form as required. You'll be directed to "Apply for Waves Global Hackathon 2022" page after the new BUIDL setup.
Note that for demo, demo link and social media, please offer URLs (with http/https://).
Don't forget to check "I agree to the User Agreement".
Back to Application window. Choose your BUIDL project from "Apply with Existing BUIDL" and identify the track you want to join.
When submission succeeds, you'll see this notification.
Project Verification

We'll make every BUIDL a poster and arrange a live project demo session for you via Youtube Live/Binance Live. Don't let go of the chance to receive huge visibility!

You can edit any details of your project in “My Profile-edit”, including project description, team members, tracks and bounties, etc..
